Rob Barnes is Vice President of Strategy and Defense Services at Coalfire Federal, where he leads growth strategy and market development across the defense sector. He oversees programs that strengthen national security through cybersecurity, compliance, and cloud modernization.
With over 20 years of experience in technology consulting, cybersecurity, and compliance, Rob has led large-scale transformation initiatives for government and enterprise clients. Since joining Coalfire in 2012, he has helped build one of the industry’s most trusted FedRAMP and defense cybersecurity practices and now leads Coalfire Federal’s efforts to expand CMMC, readiness, and assessment capabilities across the Defense Industrial Base.
A graduate of the U.S. Military Academy at West Point and CISA and CRISC certified, Rob is a frequent contributor in cybersecurity forums and federal industry discussions.
